Woodland Elementary in Jennings School District is taking a new approach to curriculum.
Some would even say that Woodland's curriculum is "off the wall."
That's because it really is.
Woodland art teacher Jeff Arnold has transformed the walls of the Jennings school into works of art.
Teachers are now starting to use Arnold's talent in their own daily curriculum.
Woodland teachers are pulling ideas for lesson plans right off of the elementary school's walls.
With the help of the Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis at the University of Missouri - Columbia, Jennings School District has taken images seen everyday by students in the hallways and put them on computers in the classroom.
You can read more about the Woodland Elementary Mural Project in the Introduction or have fun looking around in the image gallery or brousing the sample curriculum developed by Christine McKenzie.
