Missouri and the Nation
The goal of OSEDA has always been to provide Missouri citizens with up-to-date information about what is happening in their localities - communities, school districts, places and counties. However, we have found that there is growing interest among OSEDA users in how Missouri compares demographically, economically, educationally, etc. with other states in the nation. In response we have created a new feature on our web site that we are calling "Missouri and the Nation". We are beginning this feature with several of the most important measures from the 2000 Population Census. In much the same style as the OSEDA Regional Profiles we will include tables reporting data for each of the fifty states and the District of Columbia, as well as maps to graphically display variations among the states. This section will also include text explaining how Missouri compares with other states.
If you have any suggestions about how to make this new feature more useful we would appreciate hearing from you.
