Related Sites Economics Missouri: Missouri Economic and Research Information Center-MERIC is an entity of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. This site provides comprehensive analysis of key economic indicators for Missouri counties by economic regions. Center for Economic Information-CEI - provides a regional view of indicators within the Kansas City Metropolitan statistical area. CEI is housed at the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus. Missouri Economic Policy and Research Center - provides a diverse database extraction system that is the basis for the Missouri Statistical Abstract for counties. Community Policy Analysis Center (CPAC) - provides research, outreach and training that support improved policy decisions in Missouri communities Beyond Missouri: Economic Statistics Briefing Room on Employment - is a combination of graphics and data that applies to important issues in employment. The data are supplied by a number of Federal agencies. Other indicators (income, transportation, etc) are also available from this site. Bureau of Labor Statistics - provides an array of information on the workforce, inflation, spending and other statistics. Consumer Price Index is the link to consumer spending indexes. Bureau of Economic Analysis-BEA is an excellent source of secondary data on income and employment. BEA provides an annual indicator by source and category for all U.S. states and counties. Economic Research Service-ERS - produces a range of data products available in different formats, including online databases, spreadsheets, and web files. You can search by topic, by title, or by date. Local Employment Dynamics - The LED Program at the Census Bureau provides Dynamic information on the rapidly changing economy - with information on where jobs are being created and destroyed, how much turnover there is in each industry together with long-term trends. |
