Trendletter is a periodic publication of the Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis (OSEDA). Its name refers to each issue's focus on a current or emerging social, economic, or demographic trend of significance to Missourians. Trendletter is typically produced and released quarterly, however, release dates are also influenced by the availability of new data.

• Missouri's Hispanic Population Doubles from 1990 - 2000, April 2001;
• Missouri's Open Country Continues to Attract Population Growth, May 2001;

Each Trendletter follows a standard format, focusing on the social and economic impact of a single measure. This format includes;

• Detailed data tables including all Missouri counties
• Trend analysis for at least two points in time
• Missouri county maps showing
  • the geographic distribution of the measure and
  • the location of change in the measure over time
• Textual analysis, focusing on regional impacts, if appropriate.

Trendletter is published in an electronic form intended to facilitate downloading and copying issues. Previous issues are also available by request.
